This 75-minute video recording of a March 25, 2010 webinar features Marvin Medow, PhD, associate director of the Center for Hypotension at New York Medical College. Dr. Medow discusses problems tolerating upright posture (orthostatic intolerance) that are common in CFS. He describes techniques his team uses to measure blood flow, including tilt table testing, transcranial Doppler and microdialysis, in the research study being funded by the CFIDS Association of America. You can learn more about other Association webinars at http://www.cfids.org/webinar/series2010.asp. (Introductory remarks by Association president & CEO Kim McCleary did not record properly, but Dr. Medow’s presentation begins just after he restates his title and affiliations.)
